Festive Shortbread by Liz
1. Cream the Lurpak® and sugar until creamy.
2. Add the flour and mix until all comes together.
3. Place onto floured baking board or work top and gently knead the dough. Roll out to roughly ¼ inch thick and then cut out into any shapes.
4. Cook at 180ºC for approximately 20 – 30 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Cool and enjoy!

If you replace 1oz of cornflour with 1oz of fine cornmeal it makes for a slightly coarser 'mouth'. which enables the tongue to appreciate the buttery-ness(?).

This shortbread could be even better for the festive period by adding a half a teaspoon of cinnamon

This was a recipe I wanted, well done Liz!. So simple to do and so simple to follow. Even an idiot like me can achieve good results.
