Quick & Easy Quiche by Kelly
1. Preheat oven to 200C/400F/Gas Mark 6.
2. Roll pastry out into a round ovenproof dish, or place individual pastry cases onto a baking tray.
2. In a medium bowl, mix the cooked bacon, onions, and grated Cheese. Place this mixture into the pastry case(s).
3. Mix the eggs and cream cheese in a bowl. Now pour this mixture into the pastry cases(s).
4. Season and bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 175C/335F/Gas Mark 3/4, and bake for an additional 35 minutes, until top of quiche begins to turn brown.
5. Delicious served warm or cold with a salad.
Ingredients
- 80g chopped cooked bacon or ham
- 80g chopped onion
- 200g grated cheese
- 200g cream cheese
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- Ready rolled shortcrust pastry or individual pastry cases
- Salt and pepper to season (also mixed herbs if you like)
