Sage Pork Chops with Caramelised Apples by Lurpak
1. In a large frying pan heat 10g of Lurpak® and cook the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on their thickness. Once cooked set aside and cover with foil to keep warm.
2. Sprinkle the apple slices with sugar. Add the rest of the Lurpak® to the pan and heat till foaming. Fry the apple on both sides until caramelised then remove from the pan and set aside to keep warm with the chops.
3. Add the sage to the pan and cook, stirring for a minute or two. Pour in the apple juice and turn up the heat. Cook for a few minutes until the apple juice has reduced slightly then season.
4. Return the chops and apples to the pan along with any juices from the meat. Swirl everything together to combine the flavours, coating the chops in the sauce. Dish up a pork chop to each plate, top with slices of apple and pour over the buttery apple sauce.

- 1 eating apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 2 tsp sugar
- 80ml apple juice
