- 400g blackberries (fresh or frosen)
- 200g cane sugar
- Juice from 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp sodium benzoate (optional)
Bring berries, sugar and lemon juice to boil until the berries burst. Let it boil for about 10 minutes, then turn off the heat.
Add optional sodium benzoate and store in a disinfected glass jar.
